The Rods of the Zep Tepi

Amun holds a Was

Ptah holds a Djed

Ra holds a Was

While writing the file on the Zep Tepi, I felt a physical connection with a rod that has a dark green top in a suede like fabric that has cushioning underneath. It is tucked into the metal part of the rod. The top fits perfectly into the palm of my hand. The top swivels back and forth or up and down as I place my hand on it, like a steering device or remote control of some kind. It is used for communication, teleportation, manifestation, and program adjustments. It looks most like the Was. Egyptian Gods take us to the Zep Tepi. Ptah is depicted as having the body of a fish which takes us to the Amphibious Gods of Creation and Gods With Water Buckets.

The 'Was' is the Egyptian hieroglyphic character that stands for a word meaning power. The Was also could be found as a common staff used by the pharaoh, (or other honorees, etc).

In their 2004 book "The Quick and the Dead", Andrew H. Gordon and Calvin W. Schwabe speculated that the Ankh, Djed and Was symbols have a biological basis derived from ancient cattle culture:

  • Ankh - symbol of life - thoracic vertebrae of a bull
  • Djed - symbol of stability - base or sacrum of a bull's spine
  • Was - symbol of power and dominion - a staff made from a dried bull's penis
