Theodor Seuss Geisel cartoonist who wrote and illustrated 48 children's books.
Quote: Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.
Geisel made a point of not beginning to write his stories with a moral in mind, stating that "kids can see a moral coming a mile off."
He was not against writing about issues stating there's an inherent moral in every story.
Geisel's books express his views on a wide variety of social and political issues:
The Lorax (1971), about environmentalism and anti-consumerism;
The Sneetches (1961), about racial equality;
The Butter Battle Book (1984), about the arms race;
Yertle the Turtle (1958), about Adolf Hitler and anti-authoritarianism;
How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1957), criticizing the economic materialism and consumerism of the Christmas season;
Horton Hears a Who! (1954), about anti-isolationism and internationalism.
In recent times, Seuss's work for children has been criticized for presumably unconscious racist themes.

Read a book. Write a book. Download a book. Listen to a book.
You life story is your book. Let it mean something.
Some people are storytellers. Others are well read and are great at writing fiction and non-fiction books as easily I write my daily blogs. They may have learned the formula for writing a good book, or it just comes to them naturally.
Take for example my post this week about my daughter's dog Duke the Great White Pyrenees as he discovers snow for the first time. If I were to turn this into a children's book, it would be all about love and adventure through the eyes of a puppy turning one year old.
There are many stories about human origins including natural evolution, creation myths, extraterrestrial intervention and experimentation, computer simulation, or perhaps something else of which we are unaware.
For the most part, we don't think about our origins, but our storylines in the 21st-century allow us to understand that those answers are leading us to a final chapter in the saga of humanity in physical time.
