On the anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth we celebrate World Book Day. Everyone has a book in them - it's their story or journey. Most people attempt to write either a book, a poem, a blog or something that expresses their emotions. Physical reality is about experience and the catharsis of emotions through self-expression in a creative way. Saturday I was back to Broadway with family to celebrate my grandson Michael's 25th birthday and my 80th. A Beautiful Noise is a jukebox musical based on the life and music of Neil Diamond.

Neil Diamond and I went to Abraham Lincoln High School in Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn and lived few doors down from each other. I have fond memories of hanging out in his basement with other friends and sometimes his mom, Rose, and younger brother, Harvey, as Neil played his guitar and created music. It was his passion and he would find success - encouraged on by his good looking and talented parents - and friends who shared those years with him.

The nicest thing Neil ever said to me is that one day I would be well-known. His mom - who was standing nearby - agreed with him in an almost psychic and knowing way. At the time it felt right - but I didn't know how it would come to pass - but never forgot what they said. In those years if you were a nice Jewish girl from Brooklyn - your future was more about college, career, marriage and family - right out of the pages of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Symbolism of Vessel: Vessels are classic symbols of feminine matter. Of the many vessels symbolizing feminine containment, one that is particularly dear to Christians is the chalice or grail, the highest level of spiritual development and heavenly and earthly happiness. In creation terms the female body is a vessel which receives sperm and produces eggs. The way this image came out - I see a monolith (creation). On the left side a reflection in time warps this image reminding me of a pic I took last Sunday called A Ripple In Time.
