Long Covid-19

I believe Long Covid is in part physical but very much driven by emotions. It is linked to depression, anxiety, and the person who no longer can - or is willing to function - almost like a mini breakdown or drop-out moment to which they will recover in time.

In most cases they got Covid because their immune system was depleted which again links with depression.

It's a 'dropout moment' in a persons life - especially today when "burn out" takes center stage in society

Brain fog in long COVID may be linked to blood clots   Live Science - September 2, 2023
Long COVID describes myriad symptoms that linger for weeks to years after a COVID-19 infection. Some people with the condition experience problems with blood flow and lung capacity, which have been linked to tiny, abnormal blood clots. Researchers have suggested that blood clots may also drive neurological symptoms of long COVID, like brain fog, which can disrupt people's ability to focus, remember and execute tasks. The new study backs this idea linking blood clots to brain fog. However, it doesn't fully connect the dots to show how the clots might actually damage nerves or the brain to trigger brain fog.

March 15, 2023 marked the first International Long COVID Awareness Day. Initiated by members of the long COVID patient community, the purpose of this special day is to recognize the people who have been affected by this disease to raise awareness about long COVID. We at Pandemic Patients are dedicated to addressing the harm caused by COVID-19 and ensuring that patients receive the support and services they need to live their best lives. Accordingly, we are pleased to share that we are endorsing International Long COVID Awareness Day.
