August 1, 2003 - Twenty years ago today MySpace was launched - as Crystalinks was approaching its eighth anniversary (8/25/1995). MySpace paved the way for the social media revolution that went on to define the decade - eventually giving way to platforms that would include a broader audience.
Not everyone wanted to set up a website in those days but millions of internet users wanted a voice ... a place to share their journeys with a global audience by customizing an online persona and hopefully having their 15 minutes of fame while meeting people of like-mind along the way.
The Internet and reality were moving into the realms of Healing and Energy with social media both a positive and negative to that end.
I joined MySpace at my clients' suggestions to see their work. As with TikTok, SnapChat and other social media platforms - I didn't feel aligned with most of the content often having to do with dysfunctional people. It's like anything else you try on. You see if it fits and if it doesn't you move on.
Everything is a stepping stone to that which brings the human experiment to uniquely designed levels of conscious awareness based on calculations set in place at the onset via pre-programmed platforms (algorithms) of experience towards a final designation.
