When I saw this pic I was immediately drawn to whatever the object is that looks like it is about to fly above my head. It doesn't look like a bird, or a plane from this timeline, most likely a crane due to construction in the area, but as this is Coney Island a place space-time warps for me - I thought of planes dating to WWI and WWII. The image of the Glider from the Temple of Seti I at Abydos in Egypt came to mind. Life is after all the associations and connections we make with the experiences programmed within us to remember who we are, why we are here, and where we are going.

This is West 22nd Street off Surf Avenue in Brooklyn where I spent the first 11 years of my life. Almost every other building in Coney Island has been demolished or at the very least guttered to make way for high-rise buildings - with these two exceptions - interesting.

As I stood there with Emily and Dave ... a little girl about the same I was when I lived there - walked by with her mom. Music from a concert on the beach at the end of the block blasted "New York, New York" to add to the experience.

I'm not big on nostalgia - returning to Coney Island as guided by Z and temporal anomalies. Portals open and close ... but there was something about this unplanned adventure that brought me there with Crystal cousins (bloodlines).
