Choosing Our Homes

I live in the building on the left, top floor, facing water, and the Verrazano Bridge.

We chose our homes for different reason, family, friends, career, education, near water, price, etc. Often it appears that our homes chose us as we are guided to them. We walk in, look around, and say, "I'm home!" the energies feel right or there is a feeling of deja vu. Often we buy or rent based on immediate need. There are many options and variables. In all ... one's home should be in balance for their needs.

Home is not where you HAVE to go but where you WANT to be; nor is it a place where you are sullenly admitted, but rather where you are welcomed by the people, the walls, the tiles on the floor, the flowers beside the door, the play of light, the very grass.

Home is a frequency that feels 'right' with yours . . .

Your soul knows where Home is. It will guide you there one day soon.

It is where much of your karma is played out in a lifetime.

Many people have only one home during their lifetime here while others move many times!

There are many souls who feel lost and alone on planet Earth never quite finding their home in 3D.

Many of those souls enjoy sleeping - dreamtime - connecting with HOME!

Your Physical Environment

Are you feeling comfortable in the space in which you live? Work? Do the energies feel out of balance?

We experience our environments with all of our subtle bodies - physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, etc.

What makes a home or office work varies with the needs of each soul.

There are external and internal influences on the place to live and work.

Everything in your home affects you - the room temperature, ventilation, windows [skylights], lighting, colors of rooms, the layout of the rooms in relationship to each other (feng shui), the ambiance set by the design, flooring, among other factors, one should sleep with their head facing magnetic north, exterior noise, other.

More sensitive people will experience the energies of the spirits that roam around all of our homes as everything exists multidimensionally. We all have spirits in our homes. Some are connected to us and remain in our homes - while others exist in parallel realities and don't experience us any more than we experience them.

Some people prefer a large open space - perhaps aloft.

Other people can take a small studio apartment and make it a cozy home with charm and class, a few plants, a small mantle, a work area that can function as both a desk and a table, etc. Murals and mirrors also make a studio appear larger.

Metaphysical Influences

Many people prefer living near a body of water, facing water is best. This links with a need to connect with the flow of the collective unconscious. Most psychics will chose a home near water. Many people cannot see themselves living far from coastal areas. When they attempt to live in the interior of their country, they are pulled back to the coast as if by magnets.

People who are water signs - Pisces - Cancer - Scorpio - usually prefer living near a body of water.

When it comes to oceans - there are those who choose the Atlantic Ocean (Atlantean energies), and others who choose the Pacific Ocean, as if pulled there by some unconscious force. (Lemurian energies)

Air signs might prefer the higher elevations.

Earth signs often like places with nature or have many plants in their home.

Fire signs could prefer living on or near grid points with higher energies.

As we are all a mix of various signs - most influencial being our Sun, Moon, and Rising - we must seek to find the balance in ways that are not always geophysically suited to our needs - but in which we must live.

The digits in your address and/or apartment have an influence on your energies. Even your street address influences your energies. I have always lived on the side of the street with even digits - until I moved here. I have always had the #3 in my address.

A past life can influence the area in which you live. Frequencies of areas will attract people who have lived/played there in other lifetimes.

The healing properties of an area can attract you - hotsprings - scenic view - mountains - oceans - holistic/healing centers - other.

Homes can be made of any number of materials.

Most people live in traditional homes many from - brick - siding - stone - stucco - wood - or a combination of two styles.

A home in good condition - can help make us feel good - as it represents harmony and balance.

If you are very lucky enough to design your own blueprients - or talented in construction work - you can build your own space/home.

This also applies to city dwellers - who often buy an apartment - knock down the walls and create new spaces.

This of course has to do with the principals of what we call Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is a form of Geomancy - which has to do with the electromagnetic [EM] energies - we are all nothing more than frequencies of energies - in dense bodies that make us able to exist in 3D. These EM energies are viewed as our aura - and can be photographed with Kirlian Photography.

Geomancer

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art - used to promote balance in one's life. Once attained - one will attract such things as good health, happiness and prosperity. To attract balance - you must live in balanced - your environment being one of the most important things you can usually control.

If the space you live and work in is not arranged in a balanced way is will cause disharmony in you which can result in accidents and illnesses.

For example - I have one client who lives in the center of a street that slopes upward. the area is actually called Park Slope. The home is level yet still slopes just enough to cause her apin due to a tissue disease and problems after a car accident - affecting her feet and back. In general - she loves her home but her body is not able to sustain the incline of the property.

Row houses and town houses should
be checked to see if they are level.

Some people get creative in the materials and style of their homes.
