Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Washington DC today - welcomed by a standing ovation by most members.

This was the unification of Congress towards a greater purpose vs the usual bipartisan showing we are accustomed to especially at this time where we are dealing with the crimes of former President Donald Trump and those in Congress who want to maintain power by supporting him.

United we stand ... Divided we fall ... Time to get rid of the crazies who run the known and unknown systems of government that create the dramas, keep the secrets, and hold onto power.

Coming from a Ukraine heritage - the Ukraine flag always waving in front of me on the rooftop just across from here - I often think about the plight of the Ukraine people at this point in history.

With the games of politics in mind I next watched the 2022 adventures of Jack Ryan which obviously had been filmed before the Russian invasion of Ukraine earlier this year.

Jack Ryan learns of a Russian plot to recreate the Soviet Union, involving a stealth 3 megaton nuclear weapon. While Jack's covert mission to get a critical asset is successful, the victory is short-lived as the first step of the 7-day plan to reclaim the Soviet Union is carried out. With the United States government wary of interfering, much to the objection of James Greer, Jack is left out on his own to stop this global threat.
