Wounded Warrior Project - July 8, 2015

This morning I connected with the color navy, but wasn't sure why.

As I tend to wear the same colors as my clients most of the time,
it came as no surprise that today's client, Nicole, and I both wore navy.

In the late afternoon, as I looked out the window, police vehicles pulled up everywhere ... a sea of "navy".

There was no feeling of danger or terrorism so I went downstairs to investigate.

On this day in Brooklyn, police officers from the 5 boroughs assembled to honor
the wounded soldiers who served our country, some becoming police officers.

I talked to several police officers I knew and have worked with, and others I met.

I'm here with an off-duty officer ... to my right one of three canines.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001.
