I understand why people empathically connect with Taylor's messages. She has a platform based on heartbreak, and has made $millions defining her issues in music, most often about her ex-boyfriends. People, especially young people and those emotionally wounded, can identify. Complaining and playing the victim has never been my experience so I've never been a Swifty, though I respect how she has helped millions of others heal.
