I remember watching O.J. playing football, as an actor, the car chase, then the trial - knowing he was guilty. When the verdict was read I was in Connecticut with my friend Steve, who was performing in the Broadway show Cats. We had been visiting megalithic sites and local stores that sold crystals and other items of that kind. I remember Steve and I looking at each other and others in the store in disbelief.
Today I would equate O.J. to someone like Donald Trump - the same age - who moves through life using and abusing others - their psychological profile self evident. They convince themselves that they are innocent - repeating the lie over and over again until even they believe it. Sooner or later they and others are held accountable for their actions. People thrive on drama. These two inserts in the simulation will be remembered for their storylines. Infamy and fame have blended so well in our society that often times there is no distinction between the two. Emotions simply align with the character that best helps someone understand there own experience.
