Relationships ~ Spring 2021

March 21, 2021

Every year - in either Aries or Taurus - people take a long hard look at their relationships. This may or may not be a romantic relationship - just a space they no longer belong.

Remember what I always blog ... Either it works or it doesn't. If it doesn't work ... neither do you.

Breaking up is hard to do ... How much it hurts depends on whether you are the person leaving or the one who is trying to make things work. It always hurts for a while - a pain less than what you were experiencing when together.

Hopefully you both realize it's over and hasn't worked for sometime which leads to cheating, lying, and all that other nasty stuff that hurts everybody in the long run.

They say you should fight for your relationship but once your programming kicks in to leave you're gone never to be abused again.

I refer to it as "The Call of the Wild Syndrome" - Spring in the northern Hemisphere - when people who are in the wrong relationship leave for peace of mind and whatever the future holds in this crazy world. Life is too short to be miserable if you can make change.

It's something that clicks in the brain as final decisions are made to move on permanently - not the back and forth stuff where people try to reconcile again and again which rarely, if ever, works out once programmed to move on.

Covid may have prolonged relationships in 2020 but now in 2021 the exodus has begun especially for relationships that came in during the Covid time frame.

All relationships are programmed. This spring you may meet someone new who is in your life just for the next six months and fades along with the autumn energies. Please keep your emotions in check especially if you're a needy person.

Wedding Styles 2021

Several of my friends' children have married since the pandemic substituting formal wedding plans for a simple service. But there will be parties. Wedding planner alert ... My friend's son and his wife, both doctors, had a civil service last year. In May they have created the perfect atmosphere on a scenic farm by a river in Virginia with tents.

The Wedding Dress

David's Bridal says weddings are coming back - now with jumpsuits and short hems. It is anticipating weddings to return with a vengeance this year and into 2022 because of pent-up demand. In 2021, 61% want an outdoor wedding, and 35% said the news of vaccination availability increased their guest count.
