After three days and nights - the storms that were sweeping many parts of the nation have finally stopped - just in time for the Bay Ridge, Brooklyn annual Memorial Day Parade. I hope whatever you were doing - alone, with friends or family, it's a bright day.
After the parade I walked across the street to John Paul Jones Park where politicians and others were making speeches - chatting with neighbors along the way.
These were the only flowers in the park today which usually has all kinds flowers this time of the year. The energies felt very different than in the past. Maybe it was the weather or maybe it was the unnecessary war in Iran that Trump started on February 28, 2026. Although he says it's close to ending - he may not realize how true a statement that is.
