October 2026

Here I am this week at The River Cafe, an iconic restaurant located at 1 Water Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn where a scene from the new TV spin-off series NCI New York was shot. It's the building with the lights in the pic below. Great atmosphere. Great Food.

"NCI New York" co-stars LL Cool J reprising his role as NCIS senior special agent, Sam Hanna - and Scott Caan who plays NCIS Special Agent Nick Schaeffer, from Bay Ridge. If you love their chemistry - you'll love this show.

Many other scenes were shot in Brooklyn - this week featuring a waterfront street in Gerritsen Beach where several of my clients live.

Crossovers - The show will feature crossover characters from other NCIS series. CBS also presents crossovers with two of my other favorite shows - FBI and CIA - both filmed in the city with more NYC neighborhoods and energies that are all too familiar.
