2016 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions

On the matter of choosing a U.S. President in 2016, there is no one who can fix the endless problems facing the nation and the world. Everything needs to be updated or simply replaced. People are tired of old establishment ways set in place after the American Revolution that no longer work in today's world. As with most governments, there is major corruption, coverups and conspiracies all of which are harmful to Americans.

Currently the Democratic candidates include Hillary Clinton who could go to jail unless Obama, who has promised to support her, does so, and Bernie Sanders who is a Socialist and too old.

The Republicans started with a large playing field that has narrowed leaving Donald Trump as the forefront, with all of his issues and good intentions, via against three opponents who will soon drop out.

The blogs below are in backwards chronological order - the most current at the top. To be continued ...

The Phoenix is Rising - 3.16.16

Phoenix Aurora over Iceland   APOD - March 16, 2016

Taking this to the political arena and the future of the U.S., after last night's Super Tuesday 3 results, it looks more and more like Trump is headed to the finish line - or is it a female (Hillary) like the Phoenix? The Phoenix - She Who Rises From the Ashes to Recreate.

Laughable moment - as I scrolled down - stopping just below Trump's eyes - exposing the puffy bags under his eyes - he looked like one of those pics of a God with no eyes.

Tuesday night I watched without surprise as Marco Rubio suspended his campaign. Next to go is Kasich. Where will his voters turn - Cruz or Trump? This is where predictions get tricky. Lots of upset in the Republican Party as it reshapes itself and we watch and speculate on potential outcomes in a moment synonymous with revolution on many fronts. It's a history lesson from the past, the present, and the future. Are we all becoming political pundits? 2016 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions

In Meso-American mythology, the Phoenix was the Quetzal Bird, the companion of the feather serpent, Quetzalcoatl or Z which signals 2012 energies of the evolution in consciousness - not a date as many people believed.

Super Tuesday March 15, 2016

Worries that raw anger in the presidential race could explode into violence became a reality over the weekend, with outbursts at campaign rallies for Trump. One event, in Chicago, was canceled. Trump's Republican opponents are expressing doubts about whether to stand by their pledges to support him if he becomes the nominee. His closest rival in the delegate count, Ted Cruz, is focusing on overlooked states, and Ohio's primary is emerging as a crucial contest for both parties in Tuesday's voting.

Showdown in Motown

Friday March 5, 2016

Politics once again is the big story. Last night was a show-down in Motown as I watched some of the debate finishing the last half hour this morning. It was a mixed bag of serious, silly, and surreal, as front-runner Donald Trump - who earlier in the day withstood attacks from the party's last two presidential candidates, Mitt Romney and John McCain - fended off rivals Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio as well as the moderators who challenged his inconsistencies from the past. I was happy to see Kasich express his strategies in the midst of the chaos. Kasich will stay in the race at least through the primaries in Ohio, March 15th which will determine the fate of Rubio as well. This weekend, both parties hold caucuses in Kansas and Maine, and a primary in Louisiana. Republicans will hold caucuses in Kentucky and a primary in Puerto Rico, while Democrats caucus in Nebraska.

At the end of the day, Hillary could wind up in jail - depending on how many people are fixing things for her - which represents the corruption that has existed in politics from the beginning. And the beat goes on ...

What deal did Hillary make with Obama back in 2008?

The Democratic and Republican frontrunners racked up wins and delegates as each consolidated a lead. This was all predicted and came as no surprise though I was hoping Trump would do better so we could get rid of Rubio. Trump lost states he was expected to win and saw his margin of victory slip below what polls had predicted in others.

Last night, with Chris Christie and his son Eric at his side, Donald Trump took the stage at Mar-a-Lago and showed us a side of him I hope those guiding his candidacy will continue to reinforce and that is acting the role of the political statesman. Trump was restrained and complemented Cruz. If Trump can sustain this temperament until March 15 ... that's all he has to do to win. As with the patterns we all experience in our lives, Trump is used to the big battle. Perhaps now - as he leads the other candidates - he will show us a more dignified side of himself and stay that way. I know what you're think ... old habits (patterns) die hard and he has many battles ahead.

Ted Cruz is encouraging some of the other candidates to drop out so he can beat Trump but it doesn't appear they will. He should also consider those voters may side with Trump. So far, division among Republicans has served Trump well. I watch MSNBC for all things political. Monday night Trump joked about the ongoing debates and he wished they were over. He mimicked the behavior of Rubio and Cruz behind the scenes as if plotting against him like children. For now it appears there will be more of the same. We move to the next debate tomorrow night as the battles rage on.

In the Sanders versus Clinton battle - Hillary is now confident she will be the next candidate ... but be careful Hillary. Your current legal predicaments caused by email misconduct are just beginning and far from over. Having raised millions of dollars Sanders is still a viable candidate.

Welcome to March Madness - and I'm not just referring to college basketball. Today will be a deal breaker for many candidates especially in the Republican Party. Will Trump lock up the election? How about Hillary? Nearly half the delegates for the Republican nomination are at stake. Trump could all but secure his path to the nomination today thanks to rules drawn up by the Republican Party to allow a front-runner to clinch it quickly. Intentional or not, his candidacy is resonating with voters.

The Democratic Party needs someone who has the clout to at least try to take down Trump which takes us to Hillary - on her OCD quest since Bill was in office - to run the world. Today a third of the delegates needed are up for grabs. Unless she's brought up on charges - it's Hillary versus Trump in November. You don't have to be psychic to figure that out.

As of late I have discussed the election with friends and family - and like him or not - Trump seems like the only person who will use of all his energies to turn the country around. This is going to be a very rough battle for him as conservative Republicans want to hold on to the old ways in the second Civil War - or Political Revolution - taking place. FYI: Our second Republican favorite - and hopefully VP should Trump not survive in office - is John Kasich.

I listened to Trump last night on MSNBC at a rally in Georgia and connected. He joked about the ongoing debates and that he wishes they were over. FYI: Of course he is not a white supremacist. Trump's son Eric was also interviewed which was the first time I had heard him speak about the election. There's something about Eric that I really liked. Ivanka would turn out to be Trump's female voice - his wife Melania remaining in the background. I wouldn't be surprised if they separated - legally or not - or divorced - should Trump become president. This is not about other women it's just that she's not a 'first lady' - she doesn't have it in her. Melania likes older powerful men. Bill likes younger woman. They only lives about 30 minutes apart. The Trumps (depending on which wife we are referring to) and Clintons have been friends for years. Hey ... weirder things have happened as of late.

Donald Trump wins Nevada Caucus

Wednesday February 24, 2016

Game changers happen all the time as Donald Trump well knows. Lady Luck seems to be on his side as he campaigns for the 2016 presidential election.

More exiting than most things that happen in Vegas - and I've been there many times - was the energies of the Republican caucus last night as Donald Trump won by a wide margin. I actually think Trump should've won Iowa also but that whole fiasco with Ted Cruz having his people say Ben Carson was dropping out caused Trump to lose. I don't like Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, or Ben Carson. I really like John Kasich.

A friend on Facebook asked me, "Why do we want a casino owner, who has filed bankruptcy four times leaving the small people to pay his bills, who got five deferments (draft dodger we used to call them), has been married three times, and is a narcissistic blowhard as president?"

My response ... "It just shows how crazy reality has become." Never in my life did I ever take an interest in politics for any reason. I don't take stands on things ... I've never protested or done any of the things people do to make a difference. I've always known the program will play out the way it is meant. Now I am doing things that are very out of character for me. I watch Meet the Press every Sunday morning. I follow politics and actually have watched many of the debates - though the conversations are becoming redundant. I suppose this all goes to the momentum of the Trump Surge which is telling my soul and others that - things continuing on as they are will lead to the destruction of humanity BOOM - so why not take a chance on something different.

Going outside the box is a gamble but what the hell. Our souls know the simulation is almost over. We know Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, or any other elected official cannot resolve unresolvable issues - both present and in the future - but we want to see what they can do in the tedium we call - life on planet Earth. We like power. We are programmed for revolution. We relish in change. We have come a long way thanks to technology in the evolution of consciousness at this point in our experience here.

Right now we are gambling on many things both personal and global. What happens in Vegas may or may not stay in Vegas but it changes the game. Who will drop out? How will that affect the other players? Some will win ... others will lose as on we go to Super Tuesday - March 1, 2016.

In an experience based on duality
opposing forces are merging to create something better
even if we have to leave this reality to find it.
