The 2025 crop circle season featured a highly concentrated series of intricate geometric designs primarily located across the southern United Kingdom. Counties like Wiltshire, Dorset, and Somerset remained the global epicenter of the phenomenon. The year's designs ranged from traditional ancient symbols to elaborate mathematical frameworks.

The formation that generated the most significant buzz and viral fame in 2025 was the Zig Zag Hill formation in Dorset.

In 2025 crop circles continued to be a phenomenon, with some formations appearing in fields in the UK and other countries. While many are believed to be created by humans as a form of landscape art or perhaps hoaxed - some people continue to speculate about extraterrestrial or other paranormal origins.

AI can create a crop formation video therefore viewers have to be discerning about actual alien drone footage or something AI generated.

The creation of crop circles remains a mystery going back for centuries when simple unexplained circles were found in fields.

Some people believe crop formations are real and created by aliens - but in the age of synthetic reality verifying sources matters more than ever.

In checking out the 2025 crop formations posted online - there were very few - most hoaxed which has been the case in recent years.

Years ago crop formations - simple circles or complex patterns - could be viewed two or three dimensionally.

They symbolically appeared to be some sort of mechanism to trigger the subconscious and DNA of certain people programmed to their messages about reality and their place in it. It was a personal experience like many others in paranormal research.

As with everything else in the simulation of reality - crop circles had their moments of discovery - then seem to fade from the scene - especially after humans came forward to say they had created the patterns.

I always believed that these humans were subconsciously guided to create the patterns so there was validity to the whole experiment.

The "orbs of light" phenomenon represents one of the most mesmerizing and hotly contested subsets of crop circle lore. For decades, eyewitnesses, researchers, and even human circle-makers have reported seeing luminous, beach-ball-sized spheres of light - often referred to as Balls of Light (BOLs) - hovering over fields just as a pattern is about to materialize.

These balls of light are often extraterrestrial drones - the concept siting at the intersection of fringe plasma science, digital hoaxing history, and alternative consciousness theories.

The Acoustic Prelude: Witnesses frequently report hearing a distinct, low-frequency trilling or humming sound vibrating through the night air right before anything is seen.

The Descent: One or more glowing, semi-translucent spheres - ranging from bright white to amber or blue—descend rapidly from the sky, hovering just a few feet above the tops of the wheat or barley.

The Rapid Imprint: The orbs move in a swift, calculated geometric path. As they sweep across the field, the crops instantly flatten beneath them in swirling, clockwise or counter-clockwise motions. The entire event is said to take under twenty seconds.

The Departure: The lights shoot vertically into the sky or vanish instantly, leaving behind a perfectly formed, pristine geometric matrix.

When crop circles evolved from simple circles to intricate patterns - as if messages perhaps linked to extraterrestrials or more likely the consciousness simulation that creates this reality - I would create a new Crystalinks file every year showcasing these remarkable formations.

Some appeared to be more than flat patterns in the fields - but when viewed from above - could be seen as three dimensional - and in my mind - animated. It also reminded me of creation by simulation theory currently explained as 'flat two-dimensional sheets' that project out into the three-dimensional illusion we call reality.

Intricate crop circles were indeed intriguing - having their moment as another programmed vehicle to awaken human consciousness to something that has not as yet been defined - yet igniting the part of us that connects to the same source of creation.

Like all else in life - the crop circle phenomenon came and went - especially as many formations were proven to be hoaxed by humans. Still and all people were intrigued by the whole topic often traveling to places like Wilshire, UK, to experience the electromagnetic energies within intricate patterns that called to them.

For years I posted formations linked to a website called Crop Circle Connector - CCC - Crystalinks Crop Circles - until I realized the website removed pics at the end of each season and there were too many for me to copy into a new file each year. Who made the crop circles and what they were about has always been an enigma - including the man-made formations that were created by the consciousness of those who were shown what to place on the ground for others to investigate. It remains one big consciousness mystery.

At the end of most summers - I check whatever crop circle information has been made available in recent months. 2025 was no different - but what totally made me move forward to create a new file and review years of old files and texts was the deciphering of formations by artificial intelligence. Crop circles in fields in Dorset have been branded as "criminal damage" by police and farmers. A spider motif appeared on farmland near Cerne Abbas on Thursday morning. Dorset Police appealed for information, saying the stunt had damaged crops. This act of criminal damage has had a significant financial impact on the farmer.
