Apollo 11 Moon Landing 50 Years Later

Here we are July 20, 2019 - 50 years after US astronauts left planet Earth on Apollo 11 - in very different circumstances then we face today. Many of you may remember seeing the lunar landing on TV. I spent the summer of 1969 in the Catskill Mountains and woke up to see Neil Armstrong plant the flag on the moon. What a triumphant moment as cheers were heard around the world. Who would have thought that 50 years later no one allegedly has returned to the moon and that we haven't moved further into space while we spend our money killing each other in global confrontations.

Re-cap ... Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin, landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:17 UTC. Armstrong became the first person to step onto the lunar surface six hours later on July 21 at 02:56 UTC (July 20th 10:56 p.m. EDT) - Aldrin joined him 19 minutes later. They spent about two and a quarter hours together outside the spacecraft, and collected 47.5 pounds (21.5 kg) of lunar material to bring back to Earth. Command module pilot Michael Collins flew the command module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while they were on the Moon's surface. Armstrong and Aldrin spent 2 hours 31 minutes on the lunar surface at a site they named Tranquility Base before lifting off to rejoin Columbia in lunar orbit.

With conspiracies abounding since then we still need to know the truth. We certainly have the ability to send astronauts back to the moon and yet we continue to just send rovers to explore the surface and send back reports that may or may not be true. You don't have to be at the conspiracy buff to know something is going on the governments do not want us to find out.

With an increase in UFO sightings and encounters over the decades, and proof of alien visitation to the planet early in our history, as of origin stories, many believe the future is not on planet Earth but somewhere in space as there is no denying the planet is not going to be sustainable much longer. Have billionaire scientists already prepared for disasters by creating space labs of the future that will take them into space to live out there lives. I know that sounds a bit like a science-fiction movie but we have come to understand we can't trust governments or others who have agendas of their own.

Frustration about the truth grows stronger every year with millions of people currently signing a petition to Storm Area 51 currently planned for September 20, 2019 to search inside the site for extraterrestrial life and other evidence. Does the truth lie with governments, the scientific community, the private sector with access to billions of dollars and their own ability to send a spacecraft to the moon and beyond - among other hidden agendas that we now know exist and need to be brought to the public if humanity is to survive.

Okay ... I got you thinking about potential futures .. but is the real truth that we exist in a simulation that is about to end or if you believe in the future does the algorithm plummet humans into a new chapter beyond the "Planet Earth Human Experiment"?

Apollo 11 Landing - Videos -- Conspiracies -- News

The Apollo 11 mission was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. It was the fifth human spaceflight of Project Apollo and the third human voyage to the Moon. It was also the second all-veteran crew in manned spaceflight history. Launched on July 16, 1969, it carried Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr. On July 21 (0256 GMT), Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above. The mission fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's goal of reaching the moon by the end of the 1960s.

I think we're going to the moon because it's in the nature of the human being to face challenges.

It's by the nature of his deep inner soul... we're required to do these things just as salmon swim upstream.

Mystery creates wonder and wonder is the basis of man's desire to understand.

Houston, Tranquillity Base here. The Eagle has landed.

That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

Science has not yet mastered prophecy. We predict too much for the next year and yet far too little for the next 10.

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth.

I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.

It's a brilliant surface in that sunlight.

The horizon seems quite close to you because the curvature is so much more pronounced than here on Earth.

It's an interesting place to be. I recommend it.
