Duality and Division

Sunday November 15, 2020

We exist in a bipolar reality/experience so it stands to reason our society is divided in half on whether or not Trump should be reelected - each side firmly ingrained in its belief system. There is so much broken it's hard to tell who is right and who was wrong but maybe there is no right and wrong just people looking for safety in a storm.

The 2020 election delivered a split decision, ousting President Trump but narrowing the Democratic majority in the House and perhaps preserving the Republican majority in the Senate. The results leave no mandate for the left or the right, but rather a muddled plea to move on from Trump-style chaos.

Trump's refusal to concede the election has inspired thousands of his supporters nationwide to protest President-elect Joe Biden's victory as illegitimate. On Saturday Trump waved to his supporters protesting the election results in Washington as he drove past them in his motorcade on his way to play golf. Trump supporters morning protests turn into violent clashes Many in the crowds of thousands were not wearing masks and no one was social distancing. Video

The demonstrations came after Trump's loss in the Electoral College grew on Friday and his legal maneuverings continued to hit wall after wall. Biden ran on the promise to restore the soul of the nation, but he now faces a towering wall of Republican resistance as we look to Georgia and the January 5, 2021 runoff Senate election.

As you know Trump has refused to allow Biden access to secure communications and classified briefings including Operation Warp Speed which includes vaccine distribution for the exploding Covid crisis. Trump also appears to be paying no attention to the pandemic while taking credit for vaccines that have potential in the near future. It's been about five months since Trump met with his coronavirus task force probably because he prefers to make his own decisions without consulting scientists. One has the wonder why Dr. Fauci hasn't been fired yet - most likely because he is the voice of reason the the chaos called Trump.. The pandemic rages on most states setting records for new cases. To sum up - President Trump refuses to acknowledge two defeats - the election and COVID-19 - which has become unacceptable to most Americas who need a break from his delusions.

Trump started it ...

Trump threatens to deny New Yorkers vaccine. See governor's response

Friday November 13, 2020

My fellow New Yorkers. Fear not. We will get our vaccine. Trump needs to do battle with someone on this day taking aim at NY Governor Andrew Cuomo who within the hour appeared on MSNBC to explain and seemed totally unfazed by Trump's comments. If the pandemic wasn't so serious this would be hilarious. I watched it all live as it was unfolding with a hint from Trump that he was out - perhaps Part 2 of his concession speech - Part 1 being his silence the past week.

This is what happened in the White House Rose Garden Friday ... Trump had an eye on his legacy as he strode to the microphone and touted the administration's "unequaled and unrivaled" efforts to help produce a coronavirus vaccine through Operation Warp Speed. He read laboriously from a written text and did not dare take any questions.

Then, for a brief moment, he seemed close to acknowledging the reality that his presidency is almost over. "I will not - this administration will not be doing a lockdown," Trump said, speaking for the first time in a week as coronavirus cases in the US shatter records and hospitalizations are surging. "Hopefully whatever happens in the future - who knows which administration it will be - I guess time will tell, but I can tell you this administration will not go to a lockdown."

It was a fleeting shift in tone suggesting that the reality of President-elect Joe Biden's substantial win is seeping into Trump's psyche even as he and his advisers publicly deny it - and the rest of the world - other than those who still believe everything he says - watch his reign slip away as final votes are tallied and no proof of voter fraud has been shown. The need for transition of power is immediate as we deal with a pandemic and other issues of the day. That those around Trump have been placating him for a week after he lost seems a travesty that must end now.

Next I walked down the hall to 'throw away the trash' - meeting a female neighbor and telling her what she missed. She was one of the people who insisted that Trump would win by a landslide so I couldn't resist saying. "Trump lost" to which she replied, "Did not". To which I defiantly replied, "Did too," while smirking behind my mask. "Did not" she uttered one final time as she entered her apartment. "Did too", I muttered quickly under my mask wanting to have the last word. Somehow it felt good to act like a petulant child even if it was just in the moment. Just remember ... Trump started it. I think I'll go to my room now.

After I updated the post above - a bird pooped on my window in the shape of a "leaf".

Ellie googling ...

There is a belief that if a bird poops on you, your car or your property, you may receive good luck and riches. The more birds involved, the richer you'll be! So next time a bird poops on you, remember that it's a good thing.

Conclusion ... Time to clean up the mess and leave.

Trump's Con

Thursday November 11, 2020

Trump is always running one con or another in business and in life. His biggest con will be remembered as the four years he spent as President of the United States working behind the scenes to undermine democracy and capitalize on it. He did that through He did that through divisive tactics - right or left - right or wrong - psychological manipulation - tell people what they want to hear - appeal to their emotions.

Currently Trump is running a con on those who supported him as a last ditch effort to raise money for the 6 lawsuits he's is going to deal with when he leaves office as well as debts and taxes. He's already declared bankruptcy six times if you think he is a brilliant businessman. His father's money made him successful but those days are gone. He will no longer be able to use the office of president to run his cons and extort money from others. People will be coming for him. Game over. Lock him up. Actually I don't see him going to jail.

Trump will not run again in 2024 - the world having moved past spending days dealing with his caprice and tantrums. At Trump's age, weight, dietary habits, and the cocktail of meds he was administered for days when he was sick with Covid, it's impossible to know what will happen physically, emotionally and mentally to him once he leaves office. Trump will never again be the linchpin that plummets our reality forward.

For millions of Americans - and people in other countries - there is some degree of expectation for change with the Biden-Harris administration though everything takes Time - the Key Element that is running out. Tick tock. All we can do it sit back and watch events unfold until reality Fades to Black. If you follow the data on earthquake activity you know how close we are. Always follow 'science' with a tiny bit of intuition/metaphysics, dreams, and emotions.

"Hey Joe! Did they just lock Trump up and throw away the key?"

"Sure looks that way Kamala. Now let's get to work."

The Sound of Silence

Wednesday November 11, 2020

That beautiful sound you're hearing from Trump is the sound of silence which one could call Trump's Concession Speech over the past five days because he cannot put his loss into words that don't make him look like the loser he really is.

His silence speaks more clearly than his jumbled words ever could - the least articulate president in the history of America. Most of us look forward to not listening to Trump's rhetoric and tweets that have bombarded our consciousness day after day for the past four years if not longer. They created a mind-space in which Trump's followers listened to his repeated rhetoric eventually believing his false and misleading claims.

We have a reality show host who won't except reality. This is indeed sad and daunting because of what he might do that jeopardizes the security of our nation. It will always be about money.

I know some of you really care about him, but does he have the ability to honor your feelings and return them in kind?

The Lame Duck

Tuesday November 10, 2020

What's going on now behind closed doors at the White House will make for some of the best reading and documentaries about Trump, his family and administration as the entity called Donald Trump lingers. Trump may consider writing his memoirs but as he is not an author would need a ghostwriter willing to let him take all the credit. Also there are too many facts in his life that are conflicting and illegal to be written down.

Three days after he lost the 2020 presidential election - people watch to see how much destruction, revenge and chaos Trump will wreak on his way out the door. Remember when he called the White House a dump? His moving van awaits.

Monday Trump's former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, predicted that Trump will go to Mar-a-Lago for the holidays and not return. Anthony Scaramucci has said that Trump will at some point concede the election and move on but under his terms.

Trump will always believe he was cheated out of reelection his justification to supporters for not winning. "If I win the election it wasn't rigged. If I lose the election it was." At the end of the day he never wanted to be president anyway and it showed.

Trump has said he will not go away easily as his ego cannot handle it relishing in every moment of attention until his term is over. I can see him at his desk brooding, plotting, and planning against his enemies untethered to consequences. He is planning to form a political action committee, a federal fund-raising vehicle that could let him retain his hold on the Republican Party even when he's out of office.

It appears he's getting conflicting advice from the people around him. In the end he listens to no one but his own chaotic thoughts.

His refusal to concede the election, delusional tweets, and failure to so far grant President-elect Joe Biden access to federal funding and resources to power up his administration - mean America is in for a rocky ride - but we all know that.

Our lame duck President will never leave with his "ducks in a row".

2020 US Presidential Election - Joe Biden Wins

Saturday November 7, 2020

Like a breath of fresh year after four years of Trump chaos - day after day - tweet after tweet - Joe Biden has become the 46th President of the United States with 279 electoral votes and counting. Kamala Harris will be the nation's first black and South Asian vice president - a step forward for women and minorities.

Trump became the fourth elected president in the past century to lose re-election, after Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush.

Celebrations erupted across the country as people came out in droves - hoping a new administration will set the country back on track.

The election delivered a split decision, ousting President Trump but narrowing the Democratic majority in the House and perhaps preserving the Republican majority in the Senate. The results leave no mandate for the left or the right, but rather a muddled plea to move on from Trump-style chaos.

The American people have officially fired the most corrupt, cruel, indecent, and incompetent president in American history. Not to forget that he was impeached almost a year ago.

Democracy is fueled by faith and belief in the legitimacy of the American system. Trump did everything he could to undermine and pollute that faith and belief though I sometimes wondered how he could have been so blind to what he was doing to innocent people. If it benefited him it was right for the country or so he believed.

The great miracle of this country is the uninterrupted transition of power from one President to another which has gone on since the 18th century - something that you may experienced in a past life as it was so powerful.

I'm sure there are people out there who feel a burden lifted from their shoulders today as they watch others on TV or other media dancing in the streets and celebrating Biden's victory - a victory for the country.

Biden is a man who has met his moment and his destiny as an American leader that we need in a time of catastrophe and crisis. He has prepared for this moment his entire political life whereas Trump never wanted to be president - he just wanted to run for office and make money as a result.

Trump will concede the election and on January 20th - if not earlier - leave the White House as millions celebrate. Joe Biden will swear the 35-word oath at noon on January 20, 2021 and American democracy will be renewed. The hinge of history will swing open as a new chapter of the American saga begins.

Between now and then the country will suffer a cold winter with Covid. We will see chaos and institutional vandalism from Trump knowing it is all coming to an end. All we can do is hope for the best and plan for the worst. There are a lot of far right factions out there who have been influenced by Trump and social media to act out if he loses so we should remain vigilant.

Reckoning will come for the Trump family for what they have done to the country. He will grant a federal pardon to others close to him but as I learned yesterday - he would have to hand over the presidency to Pence who can then pardon him after which he can take back the presidency for his remaining days he's in court trying to declare the election a fraud - something he will always believe. Back here in the Southern District of New York Trump faces state prosecution. He doesn't have a good track record in court.

More books will be written by those who experienced Trump's administration first hand as the truth about it continues to dribble out like a leaky faucet. Maybe then some of the people who believe in him and his policies will understand how he was actually driven by self-interest.

Trump's plan is to continue in the limelight and some form of media - most likely on a daily basis but we shall see about that.

The country will celebrate New Years Day with hope for the future and an end to the Trump regime.

I just came back from enjoying this beautiful autumn weather. In the elevator I met a neighbor - a black man who asked who I had voted for - so I proudly told him. I couldn't see his expression through his mask but I could feel his energy as this is not what he wanted to hear so I diverted to this thought ... "before long Kamala Harris will show the country that she is also a great leader." He looked at me and smiled through his mask his squinted eyes expressing that he saw a light at the end of the tunnel. He was happy to acknowledge that she will lead the world.

Around the city and the country people are celebrating Joe Biden's victory in song and dance and peaceful gatherings ignoring the fact that Trump could stir up his followers to acts of violence.

We will remember this day for as long as we are here. We are finally awake.

Trump may not want to move on but the world has. Republicans in the Senate who have been cowardly and sycophantic admit that there is going to be a new president as Trump becomes increasingly irrelevant.

European diplomats expressed relief that the next U.S. president would treat them as allies instead of rivals, while Vladimir Putin of Russia seemed to be preparing for a more acrimonious relationship.

The Georgia runoff for the Senate now becomes huge. If Democrats can win both seats then they've got everything in terms of power.

Political dramas continue and will never end but at least now we can start to turn things around.

Friday November 6, 2020

I read politicians - foreign and domestic - most of whom are scared these days. What we discuss is confidential unless something like this happens ... I kept running in Democratic Congressman Max Rose as he campaigned in my area. About a month ago he took me aside - stuck his palm out in front of me - as many people do - and asked what I saw for him. I looked ... I "listened" and quickly said, "Your career line shows a change in direction." He turned to his assistant and said, "Whoa!" as I walked away not wanting to engage further. Rose lost to Nicole Malliotakis on Election Day.

I know how upset Trump supporters are going to be after he loses. There's a whole bunch of neighbors in my building who support him. When they asked what I "see" I told them Biden will win but they laughingly look at me like I'm some old lady neighbor though they know better. Then they tell me Trump's going to win by a landslide after which I walk away.

I understand why people favorite one candidate over the other but we know the reasons Trump has to move on. You can always follow him on whatever media outlet he aligns with after he's gone. In truth it's more about ego for him than fighting the good fight.

Psychological profile :: Trump has said, "I whine until I win," something that may have worked for him with his parents but not as a world leader in 2020. He has spent his entire adult life bending reality to his liking, bulldozing his critics, imposing his will just by the sheer force of personality, and getting what he wants by manipulating truth. He is not the answer for any kind of future. You know that I believe we are on borrowed time but whatever is left as the earthquakes increase exponentially along with the climate - his time is up!

If you work as a Life Coach or the like - or as a Psychic - what would you tell Trump?

I could see myself saying, "When are you going to pay for your session?"
