The recession is moving from one industry to another in a domino effect showing us how interconnected everything is. In past years I blogged to people who wanted to make a living as healers or psychics - that metaphysics will not always hold the economic key as consciousness moves forward. Still and all, people dropped out of mainstream jobs to heal and help themselves by healing and helping others. Money was invested in all sorts of businesses to that end ... wounded souls finding answers in the self-help self-awareness grid.

In the Catch 22 of the deal, when the economy should be allowing people time to drop out and pursue their dreams while make a living at it - the opposite has happened - the money just isn't there. The psychic industry, from I what I am being told, is feeling the crunch, along with the healers, life coaches, etc. I saw this coming and warned them years ago - keep the day job.

People who own psychic hotlines, made a fortune years ago, but now find that business is way off as people don't have $4.00 a minute to find out what they want to hear like finding the perfect soul mate, job, etc. The '$800 a half hour psychics' are also having a hard time with that asking price. What could they possibly say that's worth that amount of money?

Luckily, I have not found this applies to me, but perhaps it is what I bring to a reading - not sure. I do believe people are ready to hear the truth.
