I worked as a school teacher and regret not becoming a guidance counselor so I wouldn't have to remain in the classroom all day with the same group of students. Then again ... as result of that, I became the person I am day, leaving the school system after 5 years as a full time teacher.
Regrets people have:
Working at a job because of the medical coverage
Something they said (or didn't say) to a boss or co-worker
Not keeping skills updated
Overstaying in one career as most people tend to change careers in a lifetime, usually from the corporate world to something more creative
Dedicating too much of their lives to the job and not enough with family and friends
Better financial planning
Starting a company
Being bullied
Not get psychological counseling when advised by others - showing bad attitude or substance abuse
Not finding a way to get disability sooner
Not pursuing additional education for another career
