September 6, 2010 - Labor Day

Hi Ellie,

Things are picking up speed. I guess it took me an extra year to sit around nursing my issues.

You were right. I didn't belong in Raleigh, NC. I didn't belong in Pittsburgh.

I did see my daughter, and that is great.

Gitta and I were not able to maintain the business together (you said you saw a lawyer). In fact, she tried to steal it from me and I took it back.

I did say, "F--- it, I'll find some other way to make money." I gave up on term papers for awhile and got a job cold calling insurance leads. This got me over my fear of the phone and gave me the confidence to go get my customers back.

I did meet a girl and she has issues like me so I won't be bored. I met her in San Diego, where I'm house sitting for my boss at the insurance company. She knows everyone here, all the bands, she likes to take pictures and make things. You said, 'You'll go wherever she goes/is."

You said I might try the Pacific Northwest. My friends really want me to move up there.

There were dark times over the last year that I was sure you were full of it. And here we are...
