Perhaps this is better understood as the end of a simulation - an experiment designed to study human emotions - its algorithm gradually returning to zero in the spirals of time.
Within this framework, the simulation creates 'triggers' that signal its approaching conclusion - global events, climate change and natural disasters, shifts in human consciousness and behavior, war and social upheaval to create freedom, and scientific discoveries that reflect a connection between humans and what lies beyond the boundaries of time and space.
Across cultures and centuries, ancient prophecies and scriptures have often described such a period as the End of Time - the concept of time allowing history to unfold.
At the "end of the day" it's human consciousness, awareness, or remembrance - that guides as the experiment evolves out of existence.
Another way to look at closure ... End-of-World scenarios or algorithms - no matter how you envision them - are only a small fraction of the close of the simulation. Understanding humanity's place in all of it has become part of mainstream consciousness. Everything you've ever believed about creation and the end of time - is all part of an illusion.
Your soul is here now as a 'witness' to all of this.
