Women 2023

Forbes: Women 50 Over 50: 2023

Friday October 27, 2023

This morning I read an article by Forbes about women over 50 and what a remarkable time many are experiencing personally and professionally.

I consider the first 25 years the formative years - to discover one's emotional and intellectual programming - to heal childhood issues - and to begin a new chapter through education and experiences that just seem to manifest at the right time - though one must be careful of people, places, and things that are more about learning lessons than finding purpose. At this time many women go into fields of teaching, healing, and helping others one way or another - guided by the need to make a difference.

Ages 25 to 50 are generally about marriage and children if one is programmed to that end. Partnerships within that window often end - karma complete - replaced with someone more in line with the woman's future programming and goals.

Ages 56-58 brings the second Saturn Return when one reevaluates their life and purpose as they did at ages 28-30. Unless women have had to deal with severe emotional and physical challenges - they are looking good, feeling good, and ready to start the next chapter.

I think the most important thing is to be guided by the mind while viewing emotional decisions as endless lessons.

We know the world is broken and so are most people - but be discerning and not taken in by the manipulative behavior of those emotionally challenged. Delete those who do not belong even if it is within what you call your 'soul group' of family members.

Covid gave new meaning to the word 'loneliness' - but remember there isn't much time left in the simulation so stop being self-indulgent and mentally register what is going on in physical reality as you plan the future.

End times will challenge your emotions over and over - but in the bigger picture - it is easier to detach if you can.

I honor all women 50 and above - highlighted with my three daughters - all in their 50's - who are achieving great goals in their personal and professional lives.

Today my daughter Zsia - wearing a black top in the pic above - turns 54.

Simone Biles wins fourth gold of world championships as she completes first international competition since two-year break   CNN - October 8, 2023
Simone Biles won her fourth gold medal of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships on Sunday, finishing first in the floor exercise, as she completes her first international competition since her two-year break from gymnastics. Despite being penalized for stepping out of the floor area in her routine, the high difficulty of her performance meant she finished well clear of second-placed Rebeca Andrade. The gold in floor is Biles’ 23rd world championship gold medal and was her second of the day, having won the beam competition in Antwerp, Belgium.

The world is failing girls and women, according to new UN report UN.org   - September 7, 2023

Despite global efforts, the world is falling short of achieving gender equality. This year’s edition of the UN Women and UN DESA Progress on the Sustainable Development Goals: The Gender Snapshot 2023'' launched today, paints a worrisome picture halfway through the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Gender Snapshot 2023 warns that, if current trends continue, over 340 million women and girls - an estimated 8 per cent of the world’s female population - will live in extreme poverty by 2030, and close to one in four will experience moderate or severe food insecurity.

The gender gap in power and leadership positions remains entrenched, and, at the current rate of progress, the next generation of women will still spend on average 2.3 more hours per day on unpaid care and domestic work than men. The annual publication provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of gender equality across all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlights prevailing trends, gaps, and recent setbacks on the journey towards achieving gender equality by 2030.
