This was the best night of entertainment and award ceremonies I've seen all year. Because the night focused purely on the talent, well-choreographed routines, and the music itself, it gave the entire event a much more vibrant, celebratory, and dignified atmosphere compared to the chaotic award shows of the past. Best of all it wasn't political with frustrated performers making statements that really have no place in an award show.

The ceremony marked the awards show's first return to the West Coast since 2017 at the Peacock theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by rapper Snoop Dogg, the star-studded event featured historic wins by Taylor Swift and a major comeback performance by Madonna with tributes to Dolly Parton by fellow performers.

Kacey Musgraves' tribute performance opened with a heart-tugging archival video clip of Dolly Parton offering words of wisdom and singing the introduction of her 1974 masterpiece, "I Will Always Love You". The cameras then transitioned smoothly to Musgraves, who sang the rest of the ballad live alongside a solo pianist. While accepting the coveted Video of the Year award for her music video "The Fate of Ophelia," Taylor Swift used her acceptance speech to deliver a heartfelt dedication to the late country music legend Dolly Parton.

Holding her Moon Person trophy, Swift closed out the evening by calling Dolly "the ultimate showgirl". She spoke passionately about how Dolly's songwriting directly shaped her own approach to visual media. She further commended Dolly's lifelong grace, joy, and profound gratitude toward her fans, sharing that she considers herself lucky to have been one of them and to have shared the planet with her. The emotional speech capped off a massive historical evening for Swift, whose wins brought her career total to 33 VMAs, officially breaking her tie with Beyonce to make her the most-awarded artist in the show's history.

Listening and watching video clips of the way Taylor develops storylines for her music videos - and how she has gone from performer to producer and director and more - took me to the beginnings of my journey with Crystalinks from a few text files with no pictures or videos -> to the repository of information it has become today.

As with Taylor, a lot of work goes on behind the scenes of creating, researching, editing, integrating and ultimately archiving my daily blogs - but I too am a storyteller, so it comes naturally to me, and with much passion.

Generally, I don't know what I'm going to post as I sit down at my computer each morning and the words just flow.

All readers want is the feeling of connection with the storyline and to come away with something relatable connected to their current programming - in other words learn something because the brain is here to grow and expand and learn from the moment a person is born. Every day the grids point me in a direction that will connect emotionally with some people - even if I've expressed it in different ways in the past.

Reality is about time and timing - the gears or synchronicities that keep it in perpetual motion. It manifests as a never-ending story ... until it ends. That time is coming. Close your eyes and see what is being shown to you on this day.

Hard work is never hard work when it flows. Time ceases to exist. You forget to watch the clock, and at the 'end of the day' you're happy with what you've produced. This can also be said about the creation of the Simulation of our Reality. It's all a work in progress until the end.

Madonna was very "real" about her journey over the past year and a half - how she has grown - that she has OCD, and the fact that if interrupted in her flow of discussion to the audience, she could lose her place - something very common as you get older. She seems to have arrived at a place in her life, where she is content with who she is. As with everyone - life is all a learning lesson. To quote Madonna from the VMAS - "Life is all about finding yourself and believing in yourself."

That comes with age and experience, but the real truth is life is about following your programming and realizing who you are and what reality is really about. Sometimes it's easy especially when your programming is generally positive but when you're programmed for drama, the stress and anxiety can be devastating. The sad part is most people feel that following certain ways of life will alter their programming - but at the end of the day, that is not the case.

Your destiny shifts when your DNA is programmed to do so, which is something more and more people are discovering as we realize the nature of reality as an emotionally based programmed simulation. If it's emotional, it's real or else the brain moves on - no processing at this time.
