There was one memorable surprise when Trump was acquitted today. Mitt Romney became the first senator to vote to remove a President of his own party when he voted to convict Trump on the first article. The country admired Romney's courage in facing Trump and whatever retaliations will follow. Bravo for standing up for truth. Somewhere up there John McCain is giving him a thumbs up.
The final vote was 52-48 on the abuse of power article and 53-47 on the obstruction of Congress charge. It would have taken a supermajority, or 67 Senate votes, to convict him. Many people are running scared especially after the Iowa Democratic fiasco. Now it's up to voters to hold Trump accountable. This will also be reflected in the number of Republicans elected to office in November.
Word on the street is Trump will be elected by a landslide but we have to see what happens with Mike Bloomberg. If not for him it would be Game Over. Trump wins again.
Actions really do speak louder than words. History records what people say
but the visual - a picture or video - speaks volumes - thus recorded for all time.

I didn't watch the State of the Union Address live as the hypocrisy of Trump's speech and actions were not worth my time. Instead I caught the highlights Wednesday morning enjoying a few laughs at the theatrics and brainwashing/programming of Republican senators who know how bad Trump is for the country but play along.
You can't blame Trump for not shaking Nancy's hand after the historic impeachment wherein we all predicted the outcome - but never forget it's all just a game to which I become less and less an in-house spectator as reality unfolds.
To date Trump never told the truth about extraterrestrial intervention in our reality - don't see it happening. Republicans shouting, "Four more years," made me wonder how long the simulation will perpetuate. I don't have a closure date because time is an illusion based on an algorithm not time.
