Dolly Parton - Videos - Filmography -- Discography

If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more,
do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader. ~ Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton, queen of country music and humanitarian hero, dies at 80 following a brief, private battle with cancer.

The world will always remember this music icon, the Queen of Country, known for her beauty, talent, humor, classic Southern Appalachian dialect, voluptuous curves (hourglass silhouette), clothing, wigs, philanthropy, graciousness, caring, and so much more.

In the realm of "souls who travel together" - Dolly's beloved husband, Carl Dean, passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Dolly never got over his loss.

Monday night, August 24, 2026, Entertainment Tonight did a segment covering Dolly Parton's development of digital avatar performances. The broadcast highlighted how Parton had been in deep, early-stage talks with tech companies to create a virtual hologram concert experience. The decision stems from her ongoing health struggles and the realization that she may no longer be able to handle the physical toll of traditional, long-term touring.

Sunsets and Surrealism

I took this pic of the sunset bouncing off the arch of the Verrazano Bridge tonight. It reminded me of a soul crossing over to the other side. After I downloaded the pic I noticed something unusual. All of the parked cars do not exist in real time. As I have mentioned in the past - cars and other vehicles - represent the journey of the soul. If one were to look at this as souls that loved Dolly - the cars would go on and on.

Dolly Parton died on the thirty-first anniversary of Crystalinks.
