Myths and Movies

The symbolism of water takes us to the flow of the collective unconscious and the grids that create multifaceted realities in which we experience - at this level it's about emotions. We don't follow ancient myths unless applying them to Ancient Alien Theory but now and again one borrows from ancient mythology to bring forth a new pattern of what could be called a Creation Story.

The Shape of Water is a love story about a human woman and an aquatic entity captured in a South American River where locals considered it a god. This connects with myths about Lake Titicaca in Peru. The entity reminds me of the Dogon creation myth about the Nommo who are linked to Egypt and Sirius and on and on. It's all the same algorithm creating endless myths of which you and I are a part.

March 4, 2018 - The Shape of Water won the Oscar for Best Picture of the Year.
