Tuesday October 11, 2016 ... 5:00pm give or take ...

On a picture perfect day in the city, after work my friend Pat and I decided to visit One World Trade Center, a fitting place to be at sundown erev (the day before) Yom Kippur at the Freedom Tower to welcome the Jewish New Year 5777. The adventure did not disappoint as we took the following videos and pics.

Outside by the north pool, then the south pole, there was no sense of spirits or anything foreboding ... at least not for us. Pat lives in the Village near NYU - not far from the World Trade Center - mentioned that on her first trip back to the area after 9/11 - the energies were so intense she could hardly stand up. Others felt the same in and near Ground Zero as it was called. That's all given way to new buildings and new energies. Lots of ongoing construction which will take years to complete but city dwellers are used to that.

The events of 9/11 were an insert in the hologram that changed everything forever. This ares is related to those events signaling the beginning of the end. The elevator ride to the observation deck had video and audio but it was too crowded to take pictures. In the blink of an eye we were at the top along with tourists from many different countries. Later when a tour guide asked several people where they were from and I said Brooklyn, everyone laughed. I checked my watch as we got to the top as I wanted to be there when the sunset and the energies for Yom Kippur began. We got the last table by a window ... eating slowly so we could watch the sun set before going below to the other observation decks.
