Friends and Weddings

Sometimes it is easy to pick the members of your wedding party. The best man and maid/matron of honor are usually siblings of the couple getting married.

But what if there are no siblings? What if the sibling is not close to the person getting married?

The next choice could fall to a cousin - or other family member - or to a best friend.

When choosing a friend - sometimes there are family members who feel slighted.

In the case of friendships - what if there are two close friends. How does one chose?

This can get very sensitive...

The person getting married could have two people stand up with them during the ceremony.

One of the friends could be part of the larger bridal party.

Does one select an old childhood friend over someone who has become close since they grew up?

How did things go at your wedding?
