Outside Ellie's World ...
Oh My Goddess ... It's snowing here in New York City. That's right folks .. as I sit here the snow is flying at my window ... large snowflakes in April when we never get snow!! It looks like a January blizzard. Talk about weird weather and earth changes!! And funnier yet ... the snow is sticking. Look at the size of the snowflake on the top photo above, top right area!
This morning I was up early to complete the Egyptian God and Goddess files. Just as I completed those files ... all of a sudden, the cable to the TV and modem went out. The gods of the Ennead were not watching over me ... though in true "Ellie Fashion" I laughed at the unfolding events. A short time later I was back online.
While searching for Egyptian Tree Goddesses, I stumbled upon something funny Yggdrasil (Oh My Goddess!)
In the Oh My Goddess! anime/manga, Yggdrasil is the heavenly computer system that maintains reality, with the gods and goddesses acting as its programmers, system administrators, and debuggers. It is named after Yggdrasil, a massive tree in Norse mythology. Computer bugs in Yggdrasil manifest themselves as six-legged rabbits, which are "debugged" after being hit by mallets. It is dangerous to have too many bugs, because they can form a ring as that will create a gate for the bugs to manifest and copy themselves in great numbers. However, the bugs have little to no intelligence, and thus do not cooperate to form a ring under most circumstances.
Did I miss a metaphor here? heavenly computer system that maintains reality...
A few days later ...
I discovered, by talking to friends and clients, that though it snowed in the city, the only place it accumulated was here in Bay Ridge!
