Prince George Turns One

The world remembers the day Prince George was born .. minutes before the sun moved into Leo (July 22, 2013). I loved following George's adventures particularly his trip to Australia, and the day he walked off at 10 months old - reminding me of my children who walked early. Life gets easier when a baby stops crawling and starts to walk - though that does present a whole new set of issues. One of the things I believe, is that if you want a child to walk early, buy them a walker. They quickly appreciate the fact that they can stand on their own ... then taking a few steps comes right after. Crawling is part of physical development but walking allows a child far more interesting experiences. Most children get tired of crawling, pulling themselves up on furniture and attempting to walk. This almost reads like a metaphor of human evolution.
