A lot of things are going to happen now that won't make sense.
I have a client in Florida dealing with chemotherapy. She said she is continuing her daily routines by going out and eating out. Hopefully the doctors will convince her to remain at home and self quarantine. She could be a carrier and not know it
A friend from Brooklyn, in her early 70's, is convinced the whole thing is a hoax. She is probably not alone. She had pneumonia in December - her lungs now clear. She is going about her daily routines as a make-up artist - without wearing gloves or a mask - telling me she loves her work. She could be a carrier and not know it.
Last night my friend John in Bradenton, Florida was telling me about college students on spring break partying on the Clearwater Beach and making comments like, "Coronavirus is for old people." It boggles the mind why the federal government or the governors of certain states don't shut down the beaches.
After I hung up with John there was the story on the news. Most of the students, besides looking high, really looked intelligent enough to understand that if they knew the seriousness of coronavirus and its spread to others they would not be there but it's up to the adults to tell them to go home.
You don't need to be sick to be a carrier and as long as there are carriers this will continue. This contagion and its repercussions has only just begun. What's needed is a home test anyone can take to see if they are carriers.
Eventually everyone will understand what needs to be done but it's not until they are personally affected. You could be a carrier and not know it.
