Christmas in Brooklyn - December 2007
The residents of Dyker Heights are known for their annual Christmas Displays that are often on the news. Throughout the area one stands in awe gazing at the fabulous displays, complimented by Christmas music, live characters, people giving out candy canes, and more.
On 12/18/2007, George, Pat and I drove through the streets of Dyker Heights, the neighborhood east of Bay Ridge, where I live. We were there to enjoy the now legendary Christmas displays and take some photos.
The man dressed as Frosty the Snowman told us that it takes 5 weeks to set everything up, not only outside, but inside the homes. Loved the energies and the expressions on the children's faces, who passed by while we were there on a cold winter's night.
Here are some photos we took.
