A common phenomenon involves a terminally ill person who suddenly appears to rally, or to become conscious, talk to those around them in a lucid way, shortly before crossing over.

What is this about?

Reality is consciousness. When a person dies, they remove their consciousness from their physical body, sometimes quickly, other times gradually. Near the end, the soul, or consciousness can briefly return before permanently leaving/detaching.

For a brief moment in time, those who love the person, are hopeful for their recovery, but this is not why they have returned to consciousness for the benefit of those left behind. It is all part of the pain of loss and helping to heal that pain. A major life lesson, few escape is loss ... of a loved one physically or emotionally.

When the soul returns to physical consciousness, they often speak about seeing others, or meeting others, who have already crossed over, and may be in the room waiting for them. They may mention seeing a white light or angels. People in the room may also witness or sense these spirits. This gives us a glimpse of the other side. Floral fragrances may permeate the room.

Sometimes the dying person makes a deathbed confession, a cleansing of the soul, to reconcile differences that were not addressed in the past. It is a time of forgiveness and releasing of pain. You move on when you create balance and release emotional trappings.

Sometimes the returning soul will leave a message with the living, about looking for something as a sign they are okay or have transformed. This generally references something that flies, like a bird or butterfly.

The dying person may also leave a password that a medium can repeat later on, another indication they are okay on the other side.

Please keep in mind that the soul projects itself into a physical body/form to experience the emotions of third dimension. The soul does not cease to exist once it has removed itself from its physical projection. It has returned to its natural state of light and consciousness, where you can experience a connection where you place your consciousness in an altered state. At such times, your thoughts are moving faster than the speed of light and your consciousness is free to experience without the limitations of a physical body. We experience this in meditation, dreams, remote viewing, astral projection, near death experiences and other out of body experiences.

It would appear that what most often motivates dying souls is closure. "I'm sorry." "Please forgive me." "Good-bye. I love you." All of these phrases resonant with the emotional needs of those left behind. Listen carefully when someone you know awakens to create closure and bring messages. Write them down if possible and say, "Good-bye" with love.

There is a metaphor connected with waking up before crossing over. In the final moment, before this reality ends, and All souls leave, there will a moment of awakening, or enlightenment, when all is understand.

It is then humanity moves out of the box and back into light.
