UFO Cover-Up? Britain's 'Roswell Event' Missing From Files   Live Science - March 6, 2011
The British Ministry of Defence recently released thousands of government documents related to UFO sightings and reports in the United Kingdom. As the public and UFO buffs pored over the information, there was one subject file (or series of files) that seemed to be suspiciously missing: the Rendlesham Forest Incident, better known as "Britain's Roswell."

BBC correspondent Neil Henderson noted, "The missing files relate to a report of mysterious lights from U.S. servicemen at RAF [Royal Air Force] Woodbridge in Suffolk in 1980. The disappearance came to light with the release of 8,000 previously classified documents on UFOs. Officials found a 'huge' gap where defense intelligence files relating to the case should be, the papers show." Missing files on a famous UFO case? Call Mulder and Scully! Why are these particular files missing? Is it a sign of a conspiracy?

Battle of Los Angeles Crystalinks

"Battle LA" is based on fact for the most part. On February 24-25, 1942, something happened over Los Angeles witnessed by millions of people and the media as the US Air Force attacked glowing light in the sky, its origins unknown. Was it advanced enemy aircraft or a UFO? As always, the government covered up the incident, but those that witnessed the events know what they saw. There were just too many witnesses and evidence found. It was not unusual to see UFOs, especially, Foo Fighters, during WWII, though no one is quite sure whether aliens were monitoring events, instigating them, or trying to prevent a global catastrophe.

The film opens in 1947, with a dog named Paul scratching to be let outside, where the sky is covered in eerie lights. When his owner, a young girl lets him out, he is crushed by a crash landing spaceship. The girl pulls an alien (voiced by Seth Rogen) from the wreckage, and names him Paul. He is taken away by the Government and held prisoner for 60 years. He eventually decides to escape from his holding place, Area 51.
