Memorable Moments

Superbowl XLIII

February 1, 2009

When my home team the NY Giants beat the New England Patriots in Superbowl XLII - with 35 seconds remaining - I didn't think anything could top that ... until Sunday night. With 35 seconds left ... Pittsburgh Steelers Santonio Holmes made a brilliant catch for a 6-yard touchdown. I jumped right out of my chair! Didn't think I'd stay up for the whole game, but it was worth it. Congratulations Pittsburgh! I knew you would do it!

The country, as well as the world, needed the rush this game provided - the element of surprise in the final seconds personifying the end time of the games of reality. It's all about the electricity of the 'moment'.

Targeting Mercury Retrograde

My daughter Nikki told her friend Lisa about Mercury Retrograde when it began on January 11, 2009 - ending January 31. Nikki and Lisa work in media - influenced by the motions of Mercury. Lisa told her co-workers about Mercury Retrograde. They all went to my file, did other research and sized up the situation.

Lisa had an idea. She printed out a large image of Mercury. She hung it on the wall and throughout the transit people threw darts at the picture when things went wrong. Monday all returned to normal if there is such a thing in the business world these days. The economy will appear to improve, but be careful as it will ultimately crash along with everything else, giving way to something better in the final seconds of the game.
