Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Wildfires, Flooding ... and never underestimate the Sun

Volcanoes

This month has been about volcanic eruptions in Chile highlighted with Puyehue-Cord—n Caulle among others that sent ash across south America, Central America, New Zeland, and Australia causing disruptions on flights among other issues.

Earthquakes

Highlights can be found here: June 2011

Wildfires

Wildfires race across 12 US. Smoke, like ash from volcanoes, produces health hazards.

Sun Speak

As 2011 unfolds, the sun is once again on the eve of a solar minimum cycle - at least that's what forecasters are saying. Don't bet on it. This is the calm before the big (solar) storm which will create Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) affecting planetary magnetics, sparking geomagnetic storms, affecting power grids, GPS, satellite communications, shifting ocean and jet stream currents in the Pacific Ring of Fire -> creating unusual and extreme global weather patterns and unstoppable Earth changes, and affecting the behavior patterns of all sentient life forms.

Getting Ready for the next big solar storm - Carrington Event   NASA - September 21, 2011
The Sun surprised us on June 7, 2011 with a massive Coronal Mass Ejection.

The Carrington Event of September 1859 occurred during a solar minimum cycle and was the most powerful solar storm in recorded history. From August 28, 1859, until September 2, numerous sunspots and solar flares were observed on the sun. Just before noon on September 1, the British astronomer Richard Carrington observed the largest flare, which caused a massive coronal mass ejection (CME) to travel directly toward Earth, taking 18 hours. This is remarkable because such a journey normally takes three to four days. It moved so quickly because an earlier CME had cleared its way. It became known as the Carrington Super Flare. Just before dawn the next day, skies all over planet Earth erupted in red, green, and purple auroras so brilliant that newspapers could be read as easily as in daylight. Stunning auroras pulsated even at near tropical latitudes over Cuba, the Bahamas, Jamaica, El Salvador, and Hawaii. Spark discharges shocked telegraph operators and set the telegraph paper on fire. The solar flare was so unusual, researchers still aren't sure how to categorize it.

The Carrington Event reminds us that strong solar storms

can occur even when the underlying cycle is nominally weak.

Accelerating consciousness is moving from one simulation to another faster than
thought ... dreams ... memories ... observations ... flux ... stay focused.
Don't move from this reality to one that may seem more interesting.
The objective is to leave the simulation.
