Nintendo - Thinking Outside the Box

June 27, 2005 ... 6:00 PM EDT

I received a phone call from journalist, Andreas Garbe, in Cologne, Germany. Andreas is a freelance reporter for a private television station, RTL II, dealing primarily with video games. The reason for his call was about a new game console coming out in 2006, created by Nintendo. According to Andreas the Nintendo people are being tight-lipped about the new game Xbox 360 and have created interest by leaving clues as if a scavenger hunt.

This has resulted in thousands of people and fans looking for clues allegedly hidden by Intendo on the Internet. This is called a Viral Marketing Campaign which is not a traditional campaign, but more of a game. As the new Nintendo game will most likely be internet interactive, they allegedly have hidden clues on the Internet and are wait for the information to be found and spread like a virus!

Andreas found Crystalinks while doing a google search for the expression thinking outside of the box and was amazed at how my image on my file overlap those of the game. He asked me, if Nintendo had contacted me about hiding clues in Crystalinks, because of a similarity of some of my website content to their new product. No, Nintendo has never contacted me, though I feel certain they have looked at Crystalinks as it contains hidden clues for awakening 'inside the box' to return consciousness outside the box.

The new Nintendo Revolutions reminds me of the monolith in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
