In the morning I watched the eclipse ... every bit as beautiful as predicted.

Meditating in these energies - December 8-13 - can be very powerful.

Saturday's full moon brings things full cycle that were started in the new moon in Gemini last spring - the eclipse cycle last spring. Think back and review what has happened in your life over the past 6 months. Mercury takes us to communication. Did you express what is on your mind? The moon in this full moon lunar eclipse falls at 18 degrees in the sign of Gemini with the eclipse Sun at 18 degrees Sagittarius. Communication (Gemini) and speaking your truth (Sagittarius) are in the spotlight. With Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, retrograde at 4 degrees Sagittarius at the time of the eclipse and with the Sun in Sagittarius, we must be mindful of how we speak that truth. Mercury retrograde can garble our words and the Sun in Sagittarius can cause uncensored words that can be hurtful to others. In addition the eclipse is square (challenge) transiting Mars (aggression, anger, action), a classic configuration for hasty words long regretted.

On Tuesday December 13, Mercury will no longer be retrograde and things will slowly resume a forward motion in your life as we head into the holidays and on to 2012 with all of its visions and prophecies.

The Geminids are a meteor shower caused by an object named
3200 Phaethon, which is thought to be a Palladian asteroid.

In ancient times and prophecies, the Geminid meteor showers,
arriving close to Christmas, were revered by some people as
harbingers of peace and a prophecy of rebirth for humanity.

For others, the Geminids brought fear, represented as
a cleansing of the human experience by the creator.

December 21, 2012 and the Milky Way

The Milky Way ~ Gemini
Orion - Osiris - Iris - Eye
Sirius - Isis - Eye - Is-is
Galactic Center - Black Hole or Eye

If the constellation of Orion was the star Sah (Sarah as in daughter of Jesus and Mary Magdalene and Sarah in Sarah and Alexander) in the Pyramid Texts, the utterances speaking of Osiris becoming at one with Sah might well relate to the deceased, in their guise as the dying sun, being received back into the body of the sky-goddess Nuit seen in her perceived role as the Milky Way, with her head in the region of Gemini and her feet in the area of Sagittarius.

Her womb and birth canal fall in the vicinity of the Cygnus constellation , which marks the commencement of the Great Rift, known also as the Cygnus Rift. More significantly, it is from this conceptualized cosmic womb that the deceased pharaoh achieved renewal within the pyramid and ascended to become an akh, or glorious spirit, quite literally a star in the night sky. -- Giza's Cosmic Blueprint Andrew Collins

Several extrasolar planets have been discovered in Cygnus, but the most notable is Kepler 22b currently in the news, which is believed to be the first "Earth-twin" planet ever discovered, with an estimated average surface temperature of 73 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ellie surrounded by Nuit?     Consciousness connections?

It's interesting that I wrote this just as my friend Sherif called from Egypt.

He is there trying to help organize the new government in their year of revolution.
